My dads new Harley.
So, I tried going on the master cleanse earlier and the first time, I stopped after two days. I tried it again a couple of days ago and decided to just eat healthy and not do the cleanse. Is it bad that I want to try doing the cleanse again?? I think I need to be mentally prepared for it and maybe writing about the experience may help me complete the cleanse?? I don’t know. Just thinking… Maybe I will try again…
I went to a Mexican restaurant called La Zona Rosa here in Montgomery, AL and got chicken enchiladas. I didn’t really like it. I think it was the weird cheese they topped the enchiladas with that I didn’t really like. The rice was good though. I had one enchilada and some rice and chips and salsa. Not really the healthiest lunch… I’m already regretting it. =/ I had a grilled ham and cheese sandwich for breakfast this morning. Yeah, I feel blah from the food I ate today, so I think I am going to be skipping dinner.
Lunch continues… With a side dish of 고사리나물 (gosari namul) which is stir fried bracken fern shoots which has been softened and seasoned. Good meal and it was vegetarian too!
Lunch time! I had a korean soup (된장 찌개, doenjang jjigae) made from fermented soybean paste with tofu squares in it. Yummy!
So, I feel like I need to explain my blog title “I Watch Cooking Shows While Dieting”. It means… exactly what it says! For some odd reason I enjoy watching cooking shows while I am on a diet. It makes me feel like I’m not really on one and that I am enjoying all of the delicious looking food the chefs make!
This journal is going to be a food journal. I will write down what I eat in a day, how many calories consumed, and the exercise that I do. I will also post pictures of food that I make, order, or would like to make. I might find some recipes online and share them as well. I’m kind of obsessed with taking pictures of neatly arranged food. It’s pretty!
Okay, well I am off to start my day! I will post all the food stuff tonight when I am done with my day.
